The Student Activities Board is a premier student programming board in the United States, bringing over 60 enriching and entertaining events to campus each year. SAB is highly involved with the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA), and has had many students and staff present at both the regional and national conventions. Our #TrendingTopics Interactive Debate Series won the Educational Program Award for the Mid-America region in 2013.

The Student Activities Board will host Jack Harlow, Louisville Rapper, for their Fall Concert at Memorial Coliseum on Monday, November 12, 2018. Tickets will be available to UK Students with a valid UK Student ID for free and to the general public for $20.00 plus tax. Student tickets can be purchased at the Student Involvement Box Office in the Gatton Student Center starting Monday, October 29th, 2018 at 9:00 AM EST. General public tickets can be purchased at the Student Involvement Box Office in the Gatton Student Center starting Friday, November 2ndat 9:00 AM EST. Online ticket sales are available at boxoffice.uky.edu; online tickets subject to $3 online service charge. Doors will open at 7:00 PM. Event will start at 8:00 PM. The University of Kentucky Student Activities Board is proud to announce Bill Nye as the next speaker in the SpeakBlue Distinguished Speaker series. Bill Nye is most commonly known for his television show Bill Nye the Science Guy which aired on PBS from 1993 to 1998. He will be discussing the importance of our planet and touching on the topic of his experiences with entertainment and television through a moderated conversation. Tickets are FREE for students, staff, and faculty with a valid UK ID beginning Monday, October 15th. UK ID Tickets can be picked up at the Singletary Center for the Arts ticket office starting at 10 AM. Students are permitted to get up to 4 tickets with 4 valid student IDs. General public tickets will be available starting on Monday, October 29th at 10AM for $15* at the Singletary Center for the Arts ticket office or online. Additional ticketing fees may apply. SpeakBlue will be held on Monday, November 19th. Doors will open at 7 PM and the event will begin at 8 PM.
It’s time for CAT-A-CON! In the Student Center Ballroom on Saturday, November 10th from 7-11pm, SAB is opening a world of pop culture. With retro games, a costume contest, table disscussions, and special effects makeup artists, there will be a wide variety of activities to participate in. There will also be talent such as writers, actors, cosplayers, inventors, mentalistists, and more! Come hang out in this unique and exciting enviroment to socialize and interact with fellow CAT-A-CON fans!

Time to eat some food with SAB! Whippin in the Kitchen will be held on Thursday, November 15th from 5-8pm at The 90. This cooking class will introduce you to the art of Spanish cooking. Come join SAB to learn about this unique culture and to make some yummy food!
Come join SAB for Cocoa and Canvases! On Friday, November 16th from 6:30-9:30pm in Holmes Hall, we will be providing a hot chocolate bar that includes marshmallows, whip cream, sprinkles, and more with various food items like cookies, brownies, and donuts! While you enjoy your sweets, you will also have the opportunity to participate in a painting class. All painting supplies will also be provided, so come get cozy and crafty!
