The Student Activities Board is a premier student programming board in the United States, bringing over 60 enriching and entertaining events to campus each year. SAB is highly involved with the National Association of Campus Activities (NACA), and has had many students and staff present at both the regional and national conventions. Our #TrendingTopics Interactive Debate Series won the Educational Program Award for the Mid-America region in 2013.

Come to Royalty Showcase and meet your Homecoming Candidates! On Wednesday, October 17th from 7-8pm at Memorial Hall, candidates will perform a variety of talents on stage for the student body. This entertaining event is the perfect way to connect and learn more about the Homecoming Candidates during Homecoming Week!
The University of Kentucky Student Activities Board is proud to announce Bill Nye as the next speaker in the SpeakBlue Distinguished Speaker series. Bill Nye is most commonly known for his television show Bill Nye the Science Guy which aired on PBS from 1993 to 1998. He will be discussing the importance of our planet and touching on the topic of his experiences with entertainment and television through a moderated conversation. Tickets are FREE for students, staff, and faculty with a valid UK ID beginning Monday, October 15th. UK ID Tickets can be picked up at the Singletary Center for the Arts ticket office starting at 10 AM. Students are permitted to get up to 4 tickets with 4 valid student IDs. General public tickets will be available starting on Monday, October 29th at 10AM for $15* at the Singletary Center for the Arts ticket office or online. Additional ticketing fees may apply. SpeakBlue will be held on Monday, November 19th. Doors will open at 7 PM and the event will begin at 8 PM.
Do you like watching Broadway productions? On Sunday, October 21st, SAB is taking a group of students to see Aladdin, a Broadway Musical, at the Kentucky Center in Louisville, KY! For $25.00, you will be provided a matinee ticket to the show, a box lunch, and transportation to the theater. Join SAB on this fun road trip to see Aladdin!
Come eat with SAB! Whippin in the Kitchen will be held on Wednesday, October 24th from 5-8pm at The 90. This cooking class will introduce you to the art of Mediterranean cooking. Come join SAB to learn about this unique culture and to make some yummy food!
Do you like being crafty? SAB is hosting Blankets and Bathbombs on Thursday, October 25th! From 1-3pm on the Student Center Social Staircase, we will be providing all of the materials you need to make a fleece blanket and bathbomb. If you like being creative and want to come get crafty, this is the event for you!
It’s time for Spooky Screens! Come watch Get Out, eat free cookies, and play trivia based on the movie. If you are feeling extra spooky, you can even dress up for the costume contest! Join us on Friday, October 26th at 9pm on the Woodland Glenn Basketball Courts for a night of spooky fun!
