The Student Activities Board Presents: From the Front Lines: An Evening with Anderson Cooper.

UKSAB is proud to announce that Anderson Cooper will be the inaugural speaker in SAB’s SpeakBlue Distinguished Speaker series, on September 30th at 8 PM in Memorial Coliseum.

Named the “anchorperson of the future”, Anderson Cooper has become one of the most respected journalists in the industry. He is known for his personal and emotional coverage, especially during his coverage of Hurricane Katrina, the Iraq War and the 2011 Haiti Earthquake. Cooper hosts CNN’s Emmy Award-winningAnderson Cooper 360° and reports for CBS’s 60 Minutes. He has also been awarded a Peabody Award for his reporting of Hurricane Katrina and two Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation (GLAAD) Media Awards for his work promoting equality for the LGBTQ community.

Tickets are FREE for UK Students, Faculty, and Staff with a valid ID and are available September 3rd. Students will be able to present up to four additional valid UK student ID’s to receive a total of 5 tickets.

Tickets can be picked up at the Student Involvement Ticket Center.
Located in 253 Student Center, Across from SAB Office

General Public Tickets will be placed on sale on September 7th and can be purchased at or at the Student Involvement Ticket Center.
